Diagnosis: Death

Raybon Kan is an unethical high school teacher who has fallen for one of his students in this horror spoof. As fate would have it, both of them are diagnosed with terminal cancer and sent to an experimental drug facility where they are ministered to by creepy Dr Cruise (Bret McKenzie). Locked in together over the weekend, the pair begin to share ominous hallucinations that point to an horrific murder. Billed as 'The Flight of the Conchords Movie', it does employ a similar deadpan humour, and all three of Conchord's stars appear, but in minor roles. More of a weird love story than a gore-fest, this Kiwi offering has a special charm all its own.
