The Mothman Prophecies
Based on paranormal events that took place in 1960s West Virginia, this eerie suspenser updates the story to the present. A drive from DC to Richmond somehow lands widowed Washington Post reporter Richard Gere in a small West Virginia town where residents claim to be spooked by a bizarre moth-like apparition. After befriending local policewoman Laura Linney, Gere tries to solve the mystery, but finds some troubling links to the death of his wife.
