Possession

American literary scholar Aaron Eckhart and British professor Gwyneth Paltrow have forsaken personal lives to pursue their respective research into the lives of two 19th-century English poets, but Eckhart's discovery of a love-letter linking the writers draws him and Paltrow together as well. Director/co-scripter Neil LaBute's ('Nurse Betty') unusual romantic odyssey, based on the acclaimed A.S. Byatt novel, also stars Jeremy Northam and Jennifer Ehle in flashback sequences as the Victorian literary lovers.
