Laurel Canyon
In an exclusive Los Angeles neighbourhood, ageing hippie record producer Frances McDormand finds her empty nest filled by son Christian Bale and his fiancee Kate Beckinsale after the pair graduate from Harvard. Soon, the couple face their greatest challenge when they become tempted by the lure of McDormand's hedonistic lifestyle. Provoking ensemble drama also stars Natascha McElhone, Alessandro Nivola.
