Shrek / Shrek 3D
"Shrek" (2001, 88 mins.) In order to clear his remote swampland home of the exiled storybook characters over-running it, a green-skinned, lacking-in-social-graces ogre named Shrek (voiced by Mike Myers) makes a deal with nasty Lord Farquaad (John Lithgow) to rescue a princess (Cameron Diaz) held captive in a dragon-guarded castle. Joining Shrek on his comical quest is a wise-cracking donkey named Donkey (Eddie Murphy). New Zealander Andrew Adamson co-directs. "Shrek 3D" (2003, 15 mins.) The story continues in this brand-new adventure! Shortly after setting out on their honeymoon, Shrek, his bride, Princess Fiona, and their faithful companion, Donkey, are ambushed by Lord Farquaad's henchman, Thelonius. With Princess Fiona captive, Shrek and Donkey give chase, in a desperate attempt to save her. Join the adventure as Shrek and Donkey pursue their quest to find Princess Fiona before the ghost of evil Lord Farquaad can wreak his revenge!
