Shrek
In order to clear his remote swampland home of the exiled storybook characters over-running it, a green-skinned, lacking-in-social-graces ogre named Shrek (voiced by Mike Myers) makes a deal with nasty Lord Farquaad (John Lithgow) to rescue a princess (Cameron Diaz) held captive in a dragon-guarded castle. Joining Shrek on his comical quest is a wise-cracking donkey named Donkey (Eddie Murphy). New Zealander Andrew Adamson co-directs.
