Faithless
Loosely based on an episode in the life of it's writer, Ingmar Bergman, this haunting account of regret and lost love has frail director Bergman (Erland Josephson) visited by the ghost of former lover Marianne, who recounts their tumultuous affair from years before. The resulting tale of anguish takes a probing look at the consequences of passion. Co-starring Lena Endre. Directed by Liv Ullmann.
