Around the Bend

Four generations of Lair family men are sharing a reunion of sorts at a fast-food restaurant. "Nice, happy, normal family," great-grandpa Henry says between bites of friend chicken. But Henry really knows "normal" missed the offramp a long way back. Henry also knows that a life of bad choices can be made right - one joy, one sorrow, one forgiveness at a time - and he has a quirky plan to make it happen. Christopher Walken, Josh Lucas, Michael Caine and Jonah Bobo are the Lairs in this heartfelt and poignant drama/road movie that hopscotches the Southwestern U.S. for a momentous journey that uncovers a long-forgotten family secret. With Glenne Headly, Kathryn Hahn.
