It Runs in the Family

Three generations of the Douglas acting clan are united for this bittersweet comedy-drama in which Kirk is a cantankerous patriarch and recovering stroke victim who founded the law firm where son Michael works. While dealing with his mortality, Kirk decides it's time for reconciliation with Michael, with whom he's had an often combative relationship. At the same time, Michael's (real-life) son Cameron is a rebellious college student who makes extra cash dealing marijuana. With Bernadette Peters, Rory Culkin and Diana Douglas (Michael's mother and Kirk's ex-wife).
