The Poor Little Rich Girl

Alice Faye and Jack Haley join Shirley Temple in this heart-warming music-packed story that gives America's pint-size box office sensation plenty of room to sing, dance and shine. Thinking his young daughter Barbara (Temple) is on her way to boarding school, a wealthy soap manufacturer (Michael Whalen) has no idea she's hooked up with a radio vaudeville team (Haye, Haley) and joined their act. When their first audition lands them a role on a show owned by another soap company, they become huge radio stars. That's when Barbara's father tunes in and discovers his daughter is actually working for his chief rival.
