Ten overlapping stories coming from all points of the compass, all converging on the same point: the German surrender at Luneburg Heath, May 5, 1945. The stirring and dramatic events of these ten days are seen through the eyes of common soldiers, adjutants to the major players, members of the French Resistance and the Italian Partisans. Their experiences and observations, taken from diaries, letters, dispatches and memoirs, give a vivid 'on the ground' and first-hand account of the end of the war to end all wars. "Ten Days to Victory" combines large scale, dramatic reconstructions with traditional documentary storytelling techniques to create a fascinating day-by-day account of the last days of Fascist Europe.
