Twist

Dickens' classic gets the modern treatment, set in Toronto, and told from the perspective of the Artful Dodger. Dodge (Nick Stahl) is a smack-addicted hustler working the streets when he comes across runaway Oliver (Joshua Close) making the unfortunate boy his apprentice - all under the watchful eye of pimp Fagin (Gary Farmer). The cast is first-rate, the script and direction assured and with its dark moody feel, this is Dickens with a twist.
