My Bodyguard

A quietly compelling film exploring the hardships and anxiety of high school through the eyes of bookish student Clifford (Chris Makepeace). At a new school Clifford becomes the target of a gang of bullies led by a charismatic young Matt Dillon. A stand-off nearly costs Clifford his dental work so when he is rescued by hulking loner Adam Baldwin the two become unlikely pals. An intelligent, thoughtful and humourous film with fine performances.
