The love of Sly Stallone brings two unlikely lads together during a long, hot English summer in the early '80s. Will Proudfoot is from a religious family that marks him as an outcast amongst his peers; Lee Carter is a tough kid who's always in the firing line; but after they get in a fight, Lee coerces Will into making their version of 'First Blood'. Will isn't allowed to watch TV as part of his religious upbringing, but when Lee shows him Sly's film, he's so inspired, he writes his own sequel! Now all they have to do is shoot it, and try and keep the local prima donna out of it. A charming indie kid-flick, and a heart-felt love-letter to the movies.
