The Assassination of Richard Nixon

In 1974 Sam Bicke (Sean Penn) is an office supply salesman whose life is falling apart. His wife (Naomi Watts) has left and his job is going nowhere. He and a friend (Don Cheadle) come up with a business idea, but the necessary loan, under a new scheme introduced by President Nixon, is denied and the increasingly unstable Bicke becomes obsessed with assassinating the president. A riveting glimpse into the mind of a desperate man, based loosely on the life of Samuel Byck who planned to assassinate Nixon by hi-jacking a plane and flying it into the White House.
