Pre-empting Paul Greengrass' feature by several months this made-for-TV movie is a dramatic re-telling of the events that occurred on the doomed Flight 93 on September 11th 2001. Based on what has been released into the public record this portrait of heroism in the midst of tragedy plays out like a taut thriller and does its best to avoid exploitative over-sentimentalising. Made for cable channel A&E, it became their highest rated program of all time.
