Zatoichi 16: The Outlaw

Zatoichi, played of course by the brilliant Shintaro Katsu, wanders into yet another village in turmoil as rival gambling houses are putting the squeeze on the locals. The blind swordsman thinks he has found a good solution but it looks like he's really messed up this time. The first in the series to be produced by Katsu's own production company, this Zatoichi is in flawed superhero mode - trying to do good, but somehow making things worse.
