Ursula Andress is the beautiful Ayesha - 'She who must be obeyed' - in H Rider Haggard's fantasy of the love-starved eternal queen, seeking the reincarnation of her long dead lover. Peter Cushing boldly heads off into the desert with his two buddies only to wind up trying to rescue one of them after he is captured by the desert queen. Christopher Lee also turns up in this well-mounted but somewhat underwhelming adventure as Ursula's Man Friday.
