A rollicking adaptation of H Rider Haggard's novel about a party of adventurers searching for a mystical element hidden in the Arctic that can provide eternal life. They find it, but they also find a lost kingdom, ruled over by a mysterious queen known as 'She'. Randolph Scott stars as the leader of the expediton who the queen mistakes as her long-lost love who he happens to resemble rather strongly. High stakes adventure from the creators of 'King Kong', it was remade by Hammer in the 1960s wth Ursula Andress in the titular role, but this is undoubtedly the superior version.
