Sympathy For Lady Vengeance
The final instalment in Chan-wook Park's vengeance trilogy, after 'Sympathy for Mr Vengeance' and 'Old Boy', this follows the story of Guem-ja, imprisoned at 19 for a murder committed by her accomplice. She is released 13 years later and seeks brutal revenge against the man whose crime stole her youth, enlisting the help of her former inmates whom she has befriended. A visually stunning fairy-tale with fangs, this is a fitting end to Park's musings on vigilante justice.
