The Mistress of Spices

Aishwarya Rai, reputedly the 'most beautiful woman in the world', plays Tilo, a woman trained in the magical arts of spice and dedicated to helping others with their problems. However, when Doug (Dylan McDermott) crashes his Harley outside her San Francisco store she suddenly, and for the first time, feels her own needs stirring! The spices warn her to steer clear, but for once, she's not listening. Based on the novel by Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni this romantic fable is perhaps a little hard to swallow for those who like their magic realism to include the realism bit.
