The King

Elvis (Gael Garcia Bernal) is a troubled, though charismatic young man, who's just left the navy and is on his way to Corpus Christi to find a father he's never met. However his father (WIlliam Hurt) is now the local pastor who doesn't want to be reminded of his sinful youth. Warned to stay away, Elvis will find a more sinister way to become part of the family in this darkly dream-like and subversive odyssey, seeking faith and redemption, in the American Bible Belt.
