Edmond
Frustrated city mouse Edmond Burke (William H Macy) hates his wife, his job and he desperately wants to get laid. After a fortune-teller tells him his life has gone way off track, he bolts from his marriage, and meets boozer Joe Mantegna, who directs him to the nearest 'gentleman's club'. Edmond doesn't know it yet, but his last nerve is about to snap. Another of David Mamet's white, urban, male nightmares, originally penned for the Chicago stage in the early '80s. Elevated by an excellent turn from Macy and ensemble support that includes Julia Stiles, Mena Suvari and Denise Richards.
