Masai - The Rain Warriors

A group of un-tested Masai warriors sets out to bring back the mane of a mystical lion in hopes of ending the drought that threatens the very existence of their village. As they trek through Kenya, each youth has his personal reasons to endure the quest and be successful. French documentarian Pascal Plissold's feature debut is a powerful and visually arresting tale, with a cast of non-professional actors telling an African coming-of-age story with both humour and poignancy.
