Long hailed as the 'King of Australian Television' Graham Kennedy also had a stellar career in film including these David Williamson-scripted classics. 'The Club' (1980) - Kennedy received an AFI best actor nomination for his role as a VFL Club President in this satirical look at Aussie Rules. 'Travelling North' (1987) - Frank (Leo McKern), is a crotchety old man with an unending zest and passion for life, Frances (Julia Blake), is his much younger companion travelling to Queensland to enjoy their retirement and each other. Features a memorable performance from Graham Kennedy as Freddie, the meddlesome but loyal neighbour.
