Masters of Horror: Pick Me Up / Homecoming
Both these entries in the 'Masters of Horror' series are adapted from short stories. Larry Cohen directs 'Pick Me Up', with Fairuza Balk as a traveller who gets caught between two serial killers who are seriously competitive. And 'Homecoming' from Joe Dante is a not-so-subtle satire about a load of soldiers, recently killed in a far off 'anonymous' war, who come back to life with just one thing on their minds - voting.
