Hollywoodland
When actor George Reeves, famous for his iconic portrayal of Superman, was found dead in his home from a shotgun wound, it rocked both Hollywood and the world. Officially ruled a suicide, many unanswered questions have lent this event mythical status in California's city of broken dreams. Adrien Brody plays bottom-feeding private investigator Louis Simo who starts looking into the case, finding some disturbing connections in Reeves' past that could suggest murder. An absorbing blend of noir pulp and high-end folklore with a fine cast that includes Diane Lane, Bob Hoskins and Ben Affleck as the ill-fated Man of Steel.
