An Angel For May

A troubled schoolboy is transported back to war-time England after he stumbles on a door through time in an old Yorkshire farmhouse. He meets a kindly farmer (Tom WIlkinson) and an orphaned evacuee who help him come to terms with the problems in his own life, but when he returns a tragedy forces him to go back and attempt to change the past. A fine time-travelling adventure, made for UK television and based on the novel by Melvyn Burgess.
