Lilith

A haunting psychological drama, adapted from J.R. Salamanca's controversial novel, about a young trainee therapist (Warren Beatty) whose love for a beautiful schizophrenic (Jean Seberg) endangers his work and, ultimately, his life. Co-stars Kim Hunter, Gene Hackman, Jessica Walter and Peter Fonda. Director Robert Rossen ('The Hustler') also adapted the screenplay for this, his final film.
