Deadwood: Season 3
Six weeks after the events of the Second Season, the first steps of civilization and law begin to enter the town, along with the interests of larger, more powerful entities - namely Hearst and his mining company. Deadwood steadies itself for its first elections as it enters the Dakota territory, with Seth Bullock vs Harry Manning for sheriff and Sol Star vs E.B. Farnum for mayor. This third and final season is expected to be followed by two telemovies from creator David Milch.
