TV Junkie

At age 14, Rick Kirkham got his first video camera, and began documenting his life. He quickly rose through the television ranks to become a correspondent for US news show Inside Edition. But the carefree persona he showed to TV audiences was a far cry from the troubled man he revealed to his own lens. As marriage and a pregnancy loomed, life seemed rosy, but secretly Kirkham was spiralling out of control. Directors Cain and Radecki waded through over 3000 hours of Kirkham's own footage to put together this fascinating insight into one man's personal struggle for survival.
