The Brady Bunch: Season 1
The ultimate, all-American, apple pie-chomping family. Here's the story of a lovely lady who was bringing up three very lovely girls...then she met Mr Brady (busy with three boys of his own) and lo, television's first blended family hit TV screens in 1969. The show was never a huge ratings hit, but found its true following in re-runs, becoming a cultural landmark of naive 1970s television. Oddly, creator Sherwood Schwartz originally wanted Gene Hackman for the Mr Brady role, but he was considered not well-known enough!
