McHale's Navy: Season 1
Ernest Borgnine stars in the WWII-set comedy as maverick PT boat captain Quinton McHale, whose crack squad might be good at their jobs, but have a habit of breaking the rules when it suits them. Nominated for five Emmys during its popular four seasons, it was originally conceived as a military action-drama series, but luckily a change of heart made it one of the most loved wartime comedy shows ever made. Tim Conway and Gavin MacLeod co-star.
