Dreamland
Audrey (Agnes Bruckner) lives with her father in a remote New Mexico trailer park. Her mother is dead, and though Audrey dreams of going to university, she feels compelled to stay and care for her still-grieving, agoraphobic father (John Corbett). Her best friend Calista wants to be a pageant queen but is struggling with illness, so when a new family moves in with a cute teenage son, Audrey encourages him to date Calista. Unfortunately the young people-pleaser realises that she too has feelings for the newcomer. In its dazzlingly dreamy setting this trailer-park love triangle is a tender and confident reminder to put our own needs on the list.
