Off the Map

This charming off-beat comedy drama centres around 11 year old Bo Groden who lives with her distinctly eccentric family in small-town New Mexico. Her father (Sam Elliott) is inexplicably depressed; her free-spirited mother (Joan Allen) holds the family together while tending her beloved vege garden - in the nude; and Bo maintains her sweet tooth by complaining to candy companies, keeping up a steady stream of freebies. However their idiosyncratic idyll is broken when the IRS come knocking at the door looking for taxes.
