Art gallery owner Nora (Emmanuelle Devos) and her ex-lover Ismael (Mathieu Amalric) live parallel lives of personal struggle, as Nora attempts to care for her dying mother, and Ismael grapples with his sanity within the confines of a mental institution. Arnaud Desplechin's fascinating film is a compelling story mixing comedy, drama and unexpected revelations. Also stars Catherine Deneuve.
