Reuniting the characters first introduced in his 1986 "The Decline of the American Empire," director Denys Arcand's Oscar-winning (Best Foreign Language Film) follow-up centers on Remy, the womanizing history professor, now in his early fifties, divorced and dying of cancer. As he tries to bridge the gap with his estranged son, Remy's former merry band of relatives, friends and former mistresses meet him at a cottage in Quebec for one last socially and sexually-charged discussion with their old friend. With Remy Girard, Stephane Rousseau, Marie-Josee Croze.
