The Invasion
Following the crash of a space shuttle, an unearthly discovery in the wreckage leads to the spread of a mysterious virus that makes the infected strangely inhuman, though their physical appearance remains the same. Sound familiar? This is based on the novel 'The Body Snatchers' by Jack Finney which also inspired three previous film versions - 'Invasion of the Body Snatchers' (1956, 1978) and 'Body Snatchers' (1993). As the contagion spreads, psychiatrist Carol Bennell (Nicole Kidman) has realised the source is extra-terrestrial, and that her son may hold the key to a cure. The race to save humanity is on. Daniel Craig co-stars as Kidman's trusty assistant.
