The crazy cannibal mutants are back! This time their prey comes in the form of a naive group of National Guard trainees stationed in the New Mexico desert. Creator of the original films, Wes Craven, comes on board for script-writing duties, along with his son Jonathan, but although this film is as gruesomely relentless as its predecessor, it somehow lacks, er, bite.
