Razzle Dazzle
The bizarre world of children's dance competitions gets the satirical treatment in this Australian mockumentary about a dance teacher and his troupe as they prepare to take part in a regional competition for pre-teens. Ben Miller is Mr Jonathon, the earnest dance teacher who uses his choreography to create political awareness about important issues like animal research and skin cancer; Kerry Armstrong is delicious as the ultimate stage mum; while goth costume designer Tara Moice squeezes the kids into outfits likely to make them pass out. Fantastically light-hearted Aussie fare.
