Writer/director Steven Spielberg's intelligent sci-fi story stars Richard Dreyfuss as an Indiana electrical lineman whose close encounter with a UFO overwhelmingly drives him, to a meeting at Devils Tower National Monument in Wyoming. Featuring the famous score by John Williams. This 3 disc special edition includes all three versions of the film: the 1977 135-minute theatrical release, the 1980 132-minute "Special Edition," and the 1998 137-minute "Director's Cut."
