Dad's Army: The Christmas Specials
The Christmas Specials from three years of the incredibly successful war-time comedy. From 1971, 'Battle of the Giants!' Captain Mainwarig is under pressure as he finds himslef the only one in the Church Parade not to have a medal. In 'My Brother and I' from 1975 Mainwaring is in the throes of organising a posh Sherry party when his black sheep brother comes to town. And in 'The Love of Three Oranges', first screened in 1976, the Captain is determined to win his wife one of three oranges up for grabs at the vicar's fund-raising bazaar.
