Funny Money

Chevy Chase returns to the silver screen as an average accountant who accidentally swaps suitcases and comes home with one million in hot cash. His wife (Penelope Ann Miller) is not impressed, especially when the slapstick parade of nosey friends, crooked cops and Romanian mobsters (Armand Assante and Christopher McDonald among them) come calling. A farcical romp, showing its theatre roots as the action takes place in one suddenly cramped apartment.
