The Gravy Train Goes East

Following on from 'The Gravy Train', the bumbling Hans Dorfmann (Christoph Waltz) returns, this time to help newly-liberated Balkan state 'Slaka' join the European Community. Finally liberated after years of Communist control, the little nation wants to embrace the E.C. and share its bountiful fruits of capitalism and the free market. Confounded and manipulated by all parties, he finds himself out in the cold and expelled from Slaka but doggedly in pursuit of the state's missing fortune! Also back for more political bungling are Ian Richardson and Judy Parfitt. Written by Malcolm Bradbury.
