Witty political satire stars Rik Mayall as ruthless former Conservative MP Alan B'Stard - the newly appointed European Commissioner of Internal Affairs who is elected to Parliament with a massive majority due to the mysterious absence of any opposing candidates. B'Stard is a man who doesn't have any morals at all, stopping at nothing to make himself rich and influential, his thirst for power is paramount as he adopts merciless methods to reach the top of the political ladder.
