Billy the Kid
Having met Billy Price while working on another film, director Jennifer Venditti decided to make her debut by following this unique 15-year-old around for a week, allowing him to tell his own story. Diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, shunned by his classmates and categorized as a 'special needs' student by his teachers, Billy boldly refuses to be victimized by his individuality in an environment obsessed with labels and conformity. Winner of Best Documentary at the Los Angeles, Melbourne and Edinburgh Film Festivals.
