First Snow

Guy Pearce plays a shady travelling salesman who crosses paths with a psychic in this tense and engrossing thriller. After learning he is supposed to die before the first snow of winter, the encroaching cooler temperatures make him a little nervous, particularly as his fortunes seem to be taking a downturn. Can he escape his fate? Or is his paranoia carrying him straight towards his own destruction? Pearce is on top jaw-clenching form and supported by a fine cadre of character actors including JK Simmons, William Fichtner and Piper Perabo.
