Max Payne
A stylish adaptation of the shoot-em-up video game with Mark Wahlberg as the titular hard-boiled cop still trying to come to terms with the murder of his wife and child years earlier. Embarking on a maverick revenge mission, Payne ventures into a seedy and violent underworld with guns blazing and grimace firmly in place. Along the way he encounters the Russian mob, a drug-crazed assassin and even Bond girl Olga Kurylenko, all in a glistening, neo-noir New York landscape. Beau Bridges, Mila Kunis and Ludacris also star.
