Les leads an uninspiring life, doing little more than eating, sleeping, working, and reading comic books. That is until he decides to volunteer as a test subject for an experimental anti-depressant. An unexpected side effect occurs when he seems to develop strange powers. The doctors tell him it's a passing psychological reaction, but Les soon ditches his metermaid job in favour of becoming a full-fledged superhero. This charming and original indie flick combines humour and poignancy as Les prepares to assume the greatness that has been thrust upon him. Usually cast in supporting roles, Michael Rapaport proves he has both the acting chops and the charisma to take the lead.
