He Was A Quiet Man
Christian Slater plays a disgruntled and alienated office drone who fantasises about doing bodily harm to his co-workers, but when someone beats him to it, he inadvertently becomes a hero in this blackly comic drama. Combining the dry observations of 'The Office', the perverse romance of 'Boxing Helena' and the misdirected loser angst of 'Taxi Driver', this teeters on the border between comedy and tragedy; with William H. Macy co-starring as his boss, and Elisha Cuthbert as the woman he saves.
